Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Veildoc, a service provided by Juan Jesus Martinez Ortuño, a sole trader trading as Veildoc, of 1 Aderrig Gardens, K78 F8F8, Ireland (contact: hola@veildoc.online). By creating an account you accept them.

1. The service

Veildoc helps you locate personal data in PDF documents and export a copy in which the selected areas are permanently covered. The detection is automated and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Veildoc does not provide legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing each document and deciding what to redact before sharing it.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email, keep your password confidential and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for all activity in your account.

3. Plans, credits and payments

• One credit equals one page processed. The Free plan includes 5 one-off credits. Paid plans include a monthly allowance (Professional: 200 credits for €19/month; Business: 1,000 credits for €59/month; VAT not included).
• Credits renew monthly, do not roll over and have no cash value.
• Credits are charged when detection runs. Blank pages and pages that could not be processed are refunded automatically.
• Payments: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
• Demo mode: the service is currently in demo mode. Payments are simulated and no charge is made. When billing is activated, these terms will be updated and you will be asked to accept them before any charge.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; credits already granted remain available until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may only process documents you are entitled to process. You may not attempt to bypass credit limits, overload the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

6. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee that every item of personal data will be detected. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
